Avoid spicy foods because they irritate the stomach lining, making you prone to gastritis. Alcohol also irritates the stomach, exposing your inner wall to corrosion by stomach acid. If Pylori causes gastritis, make sure you get treatment and finish the dose of medication.

Avoid consumption of alcohol and cigarette smoking. Avoid intake of spicy food, more sour foods like vinegar. Unmoderated use of painkillers also causes gastritis, so need to be avoided. Avoid severe physiological and mental stress.
